Hebrews 5:14
The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 5 Verse 14 says:
But solid food is for fullgrown men, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.
Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 5 Verse 14
Hebrews 5:14 is part of a larger passage in which the author is encouraging believers to make progress in their faith and to move beyond the elementary teachings of Christianity by growing in their understanding and knowledge of God. The author compares this growth to the growth of a baby who needs to be fed on milk before graduating to solid food. The solid food is meant for those who have developed their spiritual senses and can discern what is good and what is evil. By exercising these senses, believers can become mature in their faith and able to make wise decisions.
