Hebrews 4:7
The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 4 Verse 7 says:
he again defineth a certain day, To-day, saying in David so long a time afterward (even as hath been said before), To-day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts.
Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 4 Verse 7
In Hebrews 4:7, the author is referring to the words of David in Psalm 95:7-11. The words of David urge the people to trust in the Lord, and not to harden their hearts against Him. The author is saying that even though the words of David were spoken a long time ago, they still apply today, and we should still heed his warning not to harden our hearts against God. This passage also reminds us that God is still speaking to us, if we are willing to listen. We must not ignore His voice, but instead trust in Him and obey His commands.
