Hebrews Chapter 13 Verse 3

Hebrews 13:3

The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 13 Verse 3 says:

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; them that are illtreated, as being yourselves also in the body.

Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 13 Verse 3

Hebrews 13:3 urges us to remember those who are suffering in captivity or who are being mistreated. We should treat them as though we were in their situation, with compassion and understanding. It also calls us to recognize that we are all connected as part of the same body, so what affects one of us affects us all. We should not be content to remain detached from the suffering of others but instead should strive to be of service and comfort to those in need.
