Hebrews 13:11

The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 13 Verse 11 says:

For the bodies of those beasts whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest [as an offering] for sin, are burned without the camp.

Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 13 Verse 11

Hebrews 13:11 is referring to the Old Testament law of the sacrificial system. This verse tells us that the bodies of the animals whose blood was brought into the Holy of Holies by the High Priest in atonement for sin were to be burned outside the camp of the Israelites. This was to signify that their sins were being “taken away” from the people and being placed on the sacrificial animals. By burning the bodies of these animals outside the camp, the Israelites were symbolically showing that the sin had been taken away from them and placed onto the animals.
