Hebrews 12:2
The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 12 Verse 2 says:
looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of [our] faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 12 Verse 2
In Hebrews 12:2, the author encourages readers to look to Jesus as the source of faith and example to follow. Jesus willingly endured the cross and all the shame associated with it, because of the joy that was set before him. He now sits at the right hand of the throne of God, a position of glory and honor. In following Jesus’ example, readers can trust that they too can face hardships with joy, knowing that God will ultimately give them the victory.
