Hebrews 12:11

The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 12 Verse 11 says:

All chastening seemeth for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yieldeth peaceable fruit unto them that have been exercised thereby, [even the fruit] of righteousness.

Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 12 Verse 11

Hebrews 12:11 is teaching us that discipline, although it may be difficult and unpleasant in the moment, yields beneficial results in the long run. We may not be able to see or understand the purpose of the discipline in the present, but in the end, it will lead to a much greater reward: a peaceful spirit and a harvest of holiness and righteousness.
