Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 11 Verse 5
Hebrews 11:5 speaks of the faith of Enoch and how he was taken up to heaven without experiencing death. By faith, God granted him the favor of being taken away so he would not have to suffer death like all other mortals. He was highly favored in the sight of God as God testified that Enoch was pleasing to Him before his translation. Enoch’s faith and obedience showed that he was a true believer and follower of God, therefore God gave him the special reward of being taken up and spared from death.
