Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 11 Verse 31

In Hebrews 11:31, the author is praising Rahab for her faith in God. Rahab was a harlot who lived in Jericho. Despite the fact that the people of Jericho were disobedient to God, Rahab chose to trust in Him and accepted the two spies sent by the Israelites into her home with peace. Due to her faith, Rahab survived the destruction of Jericho and went on to marry an Israelite, becoming a part of the lineage of Jesus. This is an example of how faith can make all the difference in one’s life.
