Hebrews 11:26
The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 11 Verse 26 says:
accounting the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt: for he looked unto the recompense of reward.
Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 11 Verse 26
Hebrews 11:26 is about being willing to accept the reproach of Christ for the sake of ultimate reward. It reminds us that even though accepting Christ may bring us reproach and ridicule from the world, the reward that awaits us is worth so much more than the treasures of the world. In this verse, the author of Hebrews is encouraging us to have faith and trust in the reward that awaits us in eternity, and to not be swayed by the temporary treasures of this world.
