Hebrews 11:22
The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 11 Verse 22 says:
By faith Joseph, when his end was nigh, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.
Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 11 Verse 22
Hebrews 11:22 tells the story of Joseph, a man of great faith who, as he was nearing his death, directed his people to take his bones with them when they left Egypt. He had faith that God would one day bring them back to their homeland, and he wanted to be a part of it. His faith was so strong that he was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, even if it meant he wouldn’t be able to be there himself. This is a reminder to us that faith can be strong enough to even transcend our own mortality.
