Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 10 Verse 6

Hebrews 10:6 is a quote from the Old Testament book of Psalms, in which God is speaking about how He has no pleasure in the burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin that were part of the Mosaic Law. He is saying that these offerings are not enough to take away sin and that He desires a more complete and perfect sacrifice. The author of Hebrews is using this verse to explain that Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross was the ultimate offering of atonement for sin because it was a once-for-all event that completely removed our sins. Therefore, it is the perfect and complete sacrifice that God desires, and it can never be repeated.
