Hebrews 10:5
The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 10 Verse 5 says:
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, But a body didst thou prepare for me;
Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 10 Verse 5
Hebrews 10:5 is a reference to Psalm 40:6. The passage is referring to how God sent Jesus into the world and instead of the traditional sacrifices, He was to provide a different kind of sacrifice—His own body. Jesus was sent to be the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of all humanity, and as a result, His death allowed us to come into a relationship with God through faith. Through Jesus’ sacrifice, we can be saved from our sins and be reconciled to God.
