Galatians 5:8
The Bible in Galatians Chapter 5 Verse 8 says:
This persuasion [came] not of him that calleth you.
Interpretation of Galatians Chapter 5 Verse 8
Galatians 5:8 is referring to the idea that we should not be influenced by external forces or other people when it comes to matters of faith. We should rely solely on the guidance of God and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, which is found within us. Paul is encouraging the Galatians to not be swayed by the opinions and teachings of others, but to follow the truth of the Gospel as revealed to them by God. He is also reminding them that ultimately, it is God who calls us and leads us to salvation.
