Galatians 5:11
The Bible in Galatians Chapter 5 Verse 11 says:
But I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? then hath the stumbling-block of the cross been done away.
Interpretation of Galatians Chapter 5 Verse 11
In Galatians 5:11, Paul is reflecting on why he is still persecuted by the Jews for preaching the gospel if he is still preaching circumcision. He wonders why the Jews still do not accept the gospel despite his insistence on circumcision, which he sees as a way of keeping the law. He concludes that the stumbling-block of the cross must have been done away with, and that only faith in Jesus Christ is what is needed to be saved and enter into eternal life.
