Galatians Chapter 4 Verse 2

Galatians 4:2

The Bible in Galatians Chapter 4 Verse 2 says:

but is under guardians and stewards until the day appointed of the father.

Interpretation of Galatians Chapter 4 Verse 2

Galatians 4:2 states that, before coming to a full understanding of the Gospel, people were under the guardianship and stewardship of the law. This law was given to the Israelites by God through Moses, and it was meant to point them to the coming of Jesus Christ, and the freedom that they would receive through Him. The appointed day of the Father is the day when Jesus’ salvation would be given to all who accept it. It is the day when believers are no longer under the law, but instead under the grace of God.
