Galatians 3:18
The Bible in Galatians Chapter 3 Verse 18 says:
For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise: but God hath granted it to Abraham by promise.
Interpretation of Galatians Chapter 3 Verse 18
Galatians 3:18 is emphasizing the point that the promised blessing of the covenant God made with Abraham, the father of faith, is not given through the Law, but through faith. The promises of God to Abraham, which include an inheritance of the land and many descendants, are not fulfilled through the Law, but through faith in God’s promises. Paul is teaching that the Law was not meant to replace the promises of God but to serve as a guide to help people live by faith. By believing in God’s promises and trusting in Him, we can receive the blessings of His covenant with Abraham.
