Galatians Chapter 2 Verse 7

Galatians 2:7

The Bible in Galatians Chapter 2 Verse 7 says:

but contrariwise, when they saw that I had been intrusted with the gospel of the uncircumcision, even as Peter with [the gospel] of the circumcision

Interpretation of Galatians Chapter 2 Verse 7

In Galatians 2:7, Paul recalls a time when he and Peter were sent to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to both the Jews and the Gentiles. On this particular occasion, Peter was sent to preach the gospel to the Jews (the circumcision) and Paul was sent to preach the gospel to the Gentiles (the uncircumcision). This passage highlights the importance of Paul’s mission to spread the gospel to all people, regardless of their backgrounds or beliefs. It also reminds us that Jesus’ message of love and salvation is for all people, not just the Jews.
