Galatians 2:3
The Bible in Galatians Chapter 2 Verse 3 says:
But not even Titus who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
Interpretation of Galatians Chapter 2 Verse 3
In this passage, Paul is defending his gospel to the Galatians. He points to Titus, a Gentile companion of his, as proof that he is not requiring Gentiles to be circumcised. Paul is emphasizing that salvation comes through faith, not through following the Mosaic Law. He is making it clear that the gospel of Jesus Christ is open to all people, regardless of their ethnicity or background. He is also emphasizing the importance of grace, and not relying on works of the Law, to be saved.
