Galatians 2:18
The Bible in Galatians Chapter 2 Verse 18 says:
For if I build up again those things which I destroyed, I prove myself a transgressor.
Interpretation of Galatians Chapter 2 Verse 18
In Galatians 2:18, Paul is warning against the legalistic teachings of the Judaizers who had infiltrated the church in Galatia. He is saying that if he were to give into the urge to follow the law and build up what he had destroyed (the law) it would make him a sinner. He is warning the church to not give in to the temptation to conform to the teachings of the Judaizers and to instead remain firm in the truth of the gospel of grace.
