Ephesians 5:8
The Bible in Ephesians Chapter 5 Verse 8 says:
For ye were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord: walk as children of light
Interpretation of Ephesians Chapter 5 Verse 8
In Ephesians 5:8, the Apostle Paul is reminding the readers that they were once in darkness, but they have now been brought into the light of God through faith in Jesus Christ. He encourages them to live as “children of light”, walking in the ways of truth, goodness and love. He reminds them that their lives should reflect the light of God, and that they should not be conformed to the patterns of this world. This verse serves as an encouragement to live a life of holiness, as God’s children should, and to be a light in the world.
