Ephesians 5:4

nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, or jesting, which are not befitting: but rather giving of thanks.
Interpretation of Ephesians Chapter 5 Verse 4
Ephesians 5:4 is instructing Christians not to engage in inappropriate behavior, such as filthiness, foolish talking, and jesting. Instead, they are to give thanks to God for His blessings. This verse reminds us that our words and actions should be in line with God’s will. Therefore, we must be mindful of our words and actions and show gratitude for God’s many blessings.
