Ephesians Chapter 2 Verse 12

Ephesians 2:12

The Bible in Ephesians Chapter 2 Verse 12 says:

that ye were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

Interpretation of Ephesians Chapter 2 Verse 12

Ephesians 2:12 is a reminder of the spiritual condition of the Gentiles before they were brought into the fellowship of the Church. It states that before being brought into the Church, the Gentiles were excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, excluded from the covenants of the promise, and without hope and without God in the world. This serves as a reminder of how grateful we should be for the grace and mercy of God that has brought us into His family and made us His children.
