Interpretation of Ephesians Chapter 1 Verse 16

Ephesians 1:16 is part of a longer passage in which the apostle Paul is writing a letter of thanksgiving to the Christians in Ephesus. Paul expresses his gratitude for the Ephesians’ faith and love, and he prays that the Lord will give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. He also prays that their eyes would be enlightened to know the hope of His calling, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of His power towards those who believe. Finally, Paul encourages them not to cease giving thanks for them, and to make mention of them in his prayers. This passage is a reminder to Christians of the importance of intercession and prayer for one another.
