The Bible in Colossians Chapter 2 Verse 21 says:
Handle not, nor taste, nor touch
Interpretation of Colossians Chapter 2 Verse 21
Colossians 2:21-23 of the Bible is a warning from Paul against engaging in the false teachings of asceticism, which was a way of life adopted by some in the early church. This passage states that they should not handle, taste, or touch things that are part of the ascetic lifestyle, such as special foods, drinks, and certain practices. Paul is telling them that this kind of lifestyle is a form of self-imposed religion that has no value in God’s eyes and will not help them in any way. The goal of the Christian life should be to live in the freedom of Christ and worship Him wholeheartedly.
