2 Timothy 2:3
The Bible in 2 Timothy Chapter 2 Verse 3 says:
Suffer hardship with [me], as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
Interpretation of 2 Timothy Chapter 2 Verse 3
2 Timothy 2:3 instructs believers to endure suffering along with Paul, as a “good soldier of Christ Jesus.” Paul is trying to encourage Timothy to remain steadfast in his faith and to stay focused on the mission and goal that God has set out for him. Paul reminds Timothy to be strong and to remain brave in the face of adversity, and to remember that there is a reward for those who remain faithful and obedient to God. He encourages Timothy to stay focused on the goal and to stay focused on the faith. He also reminds him to remain humble and to remain humble in the face of opposition. Finally, Paul reminds Timothy that even though he may be suffering, God will ultimately be the one who brings the victory in the end.
