2 Timothy 2:20
The Bible in 2 Timothy Chapter 2 Verse 20 says:
Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some unto honor, and some unto dishonor.
Interpretation of 2 Timothy Chapter 2 Verse 20
2 Timothy 2:20 is emphasizing that within a great house, there are many different kinds of people and each person has a purpose. Not everyone is the same and not everyone can be given the same honor. Some are chosen to serve the purpose of honor, while others are chosen to serve a purpose of dishonor. This verse is emphasizing that everyone within a great house has a role and a purpose and that no one should be judged or disregarded because of their role.
