2 Timothy 2:11
The Bible in 2 Timothy Chapter 2 Verse 11 says:
Faithful is the saying: For if we died with him, we shall also live with him:
Interpretation of 2 Timothy Chapter 2 Verse 11
2 Timothy 2:11 is a reminder to Christians of the promise of eternal life that is available to those who remain faithful to God. Paul is referencing Jesus’ death on the cross and His subsequent resurrection in this verse. He is telling us that if we are willing to die with Jesus and accept Him as our Savior, we can have the assurance of eternal life. We can be assured that we will live with Him forever if we put our trust in Him.
