The Bible in 2 Timothy Chapter 1 Verse 8 says:

Be not ashamed therefore of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but suffer hardship with the gospel according to the power of God;

Interpretation of 2 Timothy Chapter 1 Verse 8

In 2 Timothy 1:8, Paul encourages Timothy not to be ashamed of bearing witness to the gospel. He urges Timothy to endure hardships associated with spreading the gospel with the power of God. Paul, himself a prisoner of the gospel, is an example to Timothy, who should not be embarrassed or ashamed of the testimony of Jesus. Paul is showing Timothy how to use the power of God to stay strong and carry on the witness of the gospel, no matter what kind of opposition or suffering he might experience.
