Interpretation of 2 Thessalonians Chapter 3 Verse 11
2 Thessalonians 3:11 is a warning to the church of Thessalonica. Paul encourages the church to keep away from those who are walking in a disorderly manner – that is, they are not living according to God’s commandments and are not working. Instead, they are “busybodies”, meaning they are meddling in other people’s business. Paul reminds the church to stay away from these people and to not associate with them, so as to be an example to the rest of the world. He finishes by asking the church to pray for those who are living in disobedience, so that they may turn away from their wrongdoings and come back to God.
