2 Thessalonians 1:8

rendering vengeance to them that know not God, and to them that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus:
Interpretation of 2 Thessalonians Chapter 1 Verse 8
2 Thessalonians 1:8 speaks of God’s judgement upon those who do not know God or who do not obey the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a reminder that those who choose to live a life of unbelief and disobedience will be punished for their actions. God is just and will always bring about justice, even if it is through his judgement. This verse serves as a warning to us all to turn away from the things of this world and to turn to the Lord instead.
