2 Thessalonians 1:5

[which is] a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God; to the end that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
Interpretation of 2 Thessalonians Chapter 1 Verse 5
2 Thessalonians 1:5 speaks of God’s righteous judgment, which is a manifest token of His Divine justice. This judgment is meant to bring about the believer’s worthiness to receive the kingdom of God, which is earned through suffering. This suffering can come in many forms, such as persecution or enduring hardship, but it is all meant to bring us closer to God and His perfect kingdom.
