The Bible in 2 Peter Chapter 3 Verse 9 says:

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering to you-ward, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Interpretation of 2 Peter Chapter 3 Verse 9

2 Peter 3:9 is a reminder from the Lord that His promises are certain and He is patient and merciful towards us. He does not desire that any should perish but that all should come to repentance and receive the grace of His salvation. We are encouraged to be patient and trust in His promises, and to live in such a way that we bring glory and honor to Him.
