2 Peter 3:8
The Bible in 2 Peter Chapter 3 Verse 8 says:
But forget not this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Interpretation of 2 Peter Chapter 3 Verse 8
In 2 Peter 3:8, the Apostle Peter is reminding us of the truth of God’s timelessness and His eternity. He is telling us that we should not forget that God is outside of time and is not bound by our understanding of it. God is infinite and His time is not confined by the limits of our days and years. Even though a thousand years may seem like a long time to us, it is just a single day to God. We should trust in God’s infinite wisdom, rather than our own understanding of time, because He knows all and His timing is perfect.
