2 Peter 3:4
The Bible in 2 Peter Chapter 3 Verse 4 says:
and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
Interpretation of 2 Peter Chapter 3 Verse 4
In 2 Peter 3:4, the Apostle Peter is reminding Christians of the promise of Jesus’ second coming. He points out that even though the fathers of the faith have gone to sleep (passed away), the world has continued on in the same manner since the beginning of creation. Peter is encouraging believers to remain steadfast in their faith and to not be swayed by those who question the promise of Jesus’ return. He is emphasizing the faithfulness of God and the importance of patiently waiting for Jesus’ return.
