2 Peter Chapter 2 Verse 7

2 Peter 2:7

The Bible in 2 Peter Chapter 2 Verse 7 says:

and delivered righteous Lot, sore distressed by the lascivious life of the wicked

Interpretation of 2 Peter Chapter 2 Verse 7

In this passage, Peter is reminding the readers of the power of God to rescue the righteous from their distress. He uses the example of Lot, who was overwhelmed by the wickedness of the people living in Sodom and Gomorrah. God was merciful enough to rescue Lot from the destruction that would have befallen the city, and gave him a safe place to live. This is an example of God’s mercy and power, and serves as a reminder to trust in God even in the most trying times.
