2 Kings 11:6
The Bible in 2 Kings Chapter 11 Verse 6 says:
And a third part shall be at the gate Sur; and a third part at the gate behind the guard: so shall ye keep the watch of the house, and be a barrier.
Interpretation of 2 Kings Chapter 11 Verse 6
In 2 Kings 11:6, the Lord instructs Jehoiada, the high priest, to divide the bodyguard of the temple into three sections. One section will stand guard at the front gate of the temple, one at the gate behind the guard, and one at the gate Sur. In this way, it will be easier to keep watch over the temple and serve as a barrier against any potential attackers. The Lord also commands Jehoiada to arm the bodyguard with weapons and to ensure that the watch is maintained at all times.
