Interpretation of 2 Kings Chapter 11 Verse 21

Jehoash was the son of King Jehoram and Princess Jehosheba, the sister of King Ahaziah. At the age of seven, he became king when his grandmother, Athaliah, was overthrown. He was anointed king by the priest Jehoiada, who became his mentor. He reigned in Jerusalem for forty years and was successful in restoring the kingdom of Judah. He fixed the temple of the Lord and repaired the fortifications of Jerusalem. He also expanded the kingdom by capturing the Philistine and Ammonite cities. At his death, he was buried with the kings in the City of David.
