2 Corinthians 8:22
The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 8 Verse 22 says:
and we have sent with them our brother, whom we have many times proved earnest in many things, but now much more earnest, by reason of the great confidence which [he hath] in you.
Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 8 Verse 22
In 2 Corinthians 8:22, Paul speaks of a brother in the faith who is being sent to assist in the collection of funds for the church in Jerusalem. He speaks of this brother as one who has proven himself to be dependable in many matters and now, due to the great confidence the church has in him, he is even more reliable. Paul is entrusting this brother with the important task of collecting funds, knowing that he will be faithful and diligent in his work.
