The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 8 Verse 19 says:

and not only so, but who was also appointed by the churches to travel with us in [the matter of] this grace, which is ministered by us to the glory of the Lord, and [to show] our readiness:

Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 8 Verse 19

In 2 Corinthians 8:19, Paul is referring to Titus, who was appointed by the churches to accompany Paul and his companions on their mission of grace. Paul and his companions were providing the grace of God to the churches and they wanted to demonstrate their readiness and eagerness to do so. The purpose of this mission of grace was to bring glory to the Lord. Titus was given the responsibility to ensure that the mission was carried out properly and in a manner that was pleasing to God.
