2 Corinthians 7:8
The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 7 Verse 8 says:
For though I made you sorry with my epistle, I do not regret it: though I did regret [it] (for I see that that epistle made you sorry, though but for a season),
Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 7 Verse 8
In 2 Corinthians 7:8, Paul is addressing the Corinthians, apologising for the sorrow his previous letter had caused them. He admits that he initially regretted sending the letter, but now he can see the positive effect it had, even if it was only for a short time. He reassures them that he does not regret sending it, and that he is glad it had the desired effect.
