2 Corinthians 6:9
The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 6 Verse 9 says:
as unknown, and [yet] well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 6 Verse 9
In 2 Corinthians 6:9, Paul is drawing a comparison between the way Christians are treated in the world and the way Jesus was treated. He is reminding the believers that even though they may be rejected, despised, and persecuted in the world, they can still have hope because of Jesus’ example. He was unknown, rejected, and even killed, but he rose from the dead and is now alive forevermore. In the same way, even though they may be chastened, they will not be killed. They can take comfort in knowing that even though they may suffer, they will ultimately be saved.
