2 Corinthians 5:21
The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 5 Verse 21 says:
Him who knew no sin he made [to be] sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 5 Verse 21
2 Corinthians 5:21 is a powerful and profound statement about the love of God. It speaks of Jesus Christ and how he was the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of humankind. Jesus was the perfect, sinless Lamb of God who was willing to take on all of the sins of the world and be the payment for them. In essence, He was made to be sin, so that we could become the righteousness of God in Him. This act of love and sacrifice allows us to be forgiven and receive the gift of eternal life.
