2 Corinthians 4:9
The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 4 Verse 9 says:
pursued, yet not forsaken; smitten down, yet not destroyed;
Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 4 Verse 9
2 Corinthians 4:9 describes the resilience of believers in the face of suffering and persecution. Paul is encouraging the Corinthian church to persevere in their faith despite the difficulties they face. He acknowledges that they will experience pain and suffering but assures them that God will not abandon them. He reminds them that although they may feel smitten down and overwhelmed, they will not be destroyed. Although life may be hard, the power of Christ will sustain them and bring them ultimate victory.
