For verily that which hath been made glorious hath not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasseth.

Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 3 Verse 10

2 Corinthians 3:10 is speaking about the glory of the old covenant, which was glorious, but it is nothing compared to the glory of the new covenant that God has set in motion through Jesus Christ. The old covenant was glorious, but the new covenant brings a greater glory that surpasses it. It is this greater glory that is being referred to in this verse. We can only receive this greater glory through faith in Jesus Christ and living in accordance with His teachings.
