Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 2 Verse 9

In 2 Corinthians 2:9, Paul explains the reason why he wrote the letter: to test the Corinthians’ obedience. He wants to know if they are obedient to all the things he has instructed them. He believes that if they truly obey, then they will be rewarded. Paul is confident that the Corinthians will prove themselves obedient and that he will be able to rejoice at the results.
