2 Corinthians 2:10

The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 2 Verse 10 says:

But to whom ye forgive anything, I [forgive] also: for what I also have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, for your sakes [have I forgiven it] in the presence of Christ;

Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 2 Verse 10

In 2 Corinthians 2:10, Paul is reminding the Corinthians of the importance of forgiveness. He is saying that he too has experienced the power of forgiveness, and that for their sake he has forgiven whatever wrongs he has encountered, in the presence of Christ. He is teaching them to forgive each other, and to remember that Christ is present when they do so. Paul is emphasizing the need to forgive, and to not let bitterness or resentment linger in the hearts of those seeking to follow Christ.
