for he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him through the power of God toward you.

Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 13 Verse 4

2 Corinthians 13:4 is a reminder that Jesus was human and experienced a human death through weakness, but that he rose from the dead through the power of God. Paul is reminding the Corinthians that even though they are weak, they can still be strong in the Lord and live a life of faith and righteousness through God’s power. He is also reminding them that their lives can be a testimony to the power of God and their faith in Him. Ultimately, Paul is encouraging the Corinthians to remember that Jesus’ death and resurrection are proof of God’s power and that they too can live a life of faith and righteousness through the power of God.
