2 Corinthians 13:10

The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 13 Verse 10 says:

For this cause I write these things while absent, that I may not when present deal sharply, according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up, and not for casting down.

Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 13 Verse 10

In 2 Corinthians 13:10, Paul is explaining why he is writing to the church at Corinth while he is absent. He does not want to be too hard on them when he is present, so he writes these things in advance. He wants to use the authority that the Lord has given him to build up and not to tear down. Paul is reminding them that his authority is from God and that he should use it for good and not for harm.
