In 2 Corinthians 12:20, Paul expresses his fear that upon his return to the Corinthians, he will find them not living in harmony and unity as he would like, and that he himself may be found to be someone they do not approve of. He fears that his return may lead to strife, jealousy, anger, factions, gossip, slander, arrogance, and chaos. He is warning the Corinthians to remain unified and to live in harmony so that he does not have to experience any of the negative things he fears will happen.
