2 Corinthians 11:22
The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 11 Verse 22 says:
Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.
Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 11 Verse 22
In 2 Corinthians 11:22, Paul is responding to a boast made by the Corinthians about their allegiance to the Jewish faith. He emphasizes his own Jewish heritage and reminds them that he is just as much an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, and a Hebrew as they are. He does this to appeal to their sense of solidarity and to call attention to their shared ancestry. He wants them to recognize that if they are to truly follow the Jewish faith, they need to accept the Gospel and not be swayed by the false teachers.
